Since 2022, anti-Indian racism has surged in popularity online. What began with viral Twitter posts like “I bet it smells crazy in there” and “If Jeffrey Dahmer was Indian, nobody would’ve questioned the smell” has expanded into rhetoric that now feels normalized across every major platform.
I’m not going to sit here and say that “we deserve it”. Obviously, this is horrible, and I condemn all forms of true bigotry & hatred against people of any race. It’s low-IQ and as an Indian American artist, it’s against my faith as a Hindu.
But this uptick in racism has created possibly the single biggest opening for diasporic Indian people in history. The Model Minority Matrix (MMM) the belief that education, professional success, low crime, and political quietness would automatically produce security, dignity, and acceptance has shattered into a million pieces. People have started asking themselves, how do so many people possess a violent hatred of our people? All we do is work, start up companies, don’t commit crime, and generally stay out of the way.
And that, in my opinion, is the wrong conclusion to come to in all of this.
We need to separate from India and create our own peoplehood in the United States. For far too long, American-born Indian people have been blamed, ridiculed, and flat out emotionally abused by recent migrants and people in India that do the most ridiculous, unhinged, and frankly disgusting activities that reflect poorly on our cultures. I don’t understand this mental slavery that us American Born Indians put ourselves through to defend people from this alleged “motherland” that has done nothing to serve our interests, help our image, or develop us as a people. All we’re expected to do is accept this emotional blackmail into being “more cultural” and “loyal to our heritage”.
It’s time to throw this script in the trash.
The solution to this is simple: We create our own culture. We’re still Indians of course, nobody is denying that, but we should have our own institutions that are culturally and artistically innovative and literate so we can carve out our own destiny as a people. No more being a “diaspora”, it’s time we become a people.
The reality is that Modi’s BJP Government has made it its absolute mission to degrade Indian culture into a low-IQ spectacle that people can humiliate us while they pocket millions upon billions of dollars selling our people out into corporate slavery through globalist labor pipelines, Israel, and remittance politics. The sad fact is that most Indians reinforce this script by saying “Americans are lazy”. No, Americans aren’t lazy. In fact if we were lazy, we wouldn’t have the most scientific, technological, and political breakthroughs in human history in just a mere 250 years. This land breeds innovation, and that is just a fact. However, Americans won’t degrade themselves because we have dignity and self-respect, something that is foreign to the Indian mind, no matter how much copium you’re willing to snort.
Alt Hindu is just that, Alternative Hindu. I built this platform to present viewpoints that reject both the third worldist leftist / liberal viewpoint of our people, as well as to firmly reject the low-IQ right-wing nationalism of Hindutva, and to present my broader viewpoints on everything from politics to the arts. Alt Hindu serves as the ideological incubator to construct National Futurism, Desi Futurism, New Brown America, & The American Second Renaissance.
New Brown America should ultimately be the final archetype that we reach. A confident, creative, experimental, and adaptable people that can tackle any problem that comes our way. Alt Hindu isn’t just for Indian people either. In fact, I encourage people from all backgrounds to use my platform to project their grievances and use my frameworks to better their own people. Ultimately, New Brown America & Alt Hindu are about defeating the existing script that the inherited world is the final boss of civilization.
As I roll out all of the music, films, and other projects, it’s important to note that this platform was not created to provoke political controversy for clout. This is an artistic expansion of what I'm already discussing through my other works. I’m not bought out by anyone, I’m just an Indian American dude who has a vision beyond comprehension. I’m not looking to be a stupid modern underground rapper who does retarded gimmicks, nor am I looking to be the misunderstood “experimental” oddity, nor am I looking to be a void political commentator. I’m trying to bring back the Artist as the Total World Builder, someone who envisions a world that becomes a normal part of everyday life.
I am Indian, I am American, and this is my home. I don’t know any other country as my home.
I want this country to be the center of the Second Renaissance, with my people being vital participants in that vision.
